How to do it

  1. Color the skeleton and every piece while they are still on the sheet.
  2. Cut out each piece along the dashed line.
  3. Glue the pieces you like onto the big picture. There are extra pieces, so every result is different.

What you need

  • The printed sheet (Letter or A4)
  • Crayons, colored pencils or markers
  • Child-safe scissors
  • A glue stick
  • Card stock (optional, for sturdier pieces)

Good for

Best for kindergarten to 2nd grade (ages 5–8). Teachers use it for fine motor and scissor practice, holiday parties and classroom centers; at home it is a quiet, screen-free craft.

Questions

Is the build a skeleton activity free?
Yes. It is free to print for personal and classroom use, and you don't need to sign up.
What age is it for?
It works best for kindergarten to 2nd grade (ages 5–8). Younger kids can color and glue while a grown-up does the cutting.
What paper should I print it on?
Plain printer paper is fine. Card stock makes sturdier pieces that can be moved around and reused.
