By The Color Page Team · Updated · 12 pages

These free printable T. rex coloring pages put the king of the dinosaurs on every sheet: a big friendly T. rex face, a baby T. rex cracking out of its egg, a mom and baby T. rex, a sleepy T. rex curled up for a nap, and a T. rex in a party hat trying to reach a birthday cake with its tiny arms. Every Tyrannosaurus rex has its huge head, strong back legs and two-fingered arms, so kids learn what makes a T. rex a T. rex.

Tips for Coloring a T. Rex

  • Pick any color. Scientists still do not know what color a T. rex was, so green, brown, orange or even purple are all fair.
  • Make the belly lighter. Color the back a dark shade and the belly a light one. The T. rex will look big and round.
  • Leave the teeth white. White teeth and a pink or red mouth make the roar stand out.
  • Color the skeleton like old bone. Use tan, cream and light brown on the fossil page, with a gray rock underneath.
