Tips for Dress Up Printables

  • Color first, then cut. Pieces are much easier to color while they are still on the sheet.
  • Print on card stock if you want pieces that last and can be swapped again and again.
  • Use a glue stick, or don't glue at all. Loose pieces turn a sheet into a mix-and-match game; a little poster putty keeps them in place.
  • Cut on the dashed line. It leaves a small white edge so little hands don't have to cut close to the picture.
  • Make it a party activity. Print one sheet per child and let everyone show off their costume or creation at the end.

What age are they for?
Most sheets suit kids around 3 to 8. Younger kids can color while a grown-up cuts; the haunted house and pumpkin patch sheets have smaller pieces for older kids.
What paper should I use?
