About these fairy coloring pages
By The Color Page Team · Updated · How we make them
Looking for fairy coloring pages for a kid who leaves notes for the fairies? These free printable pages have a fairy on a leaf swing, one riding a butterfly, a tiny mushroom house and a tooth fairy. Print one page or the whole set as a free PDF, on US Letter or A4.
The easy pages have one big fairy and thick lines for preschool and kindergarten. The medium pages add gardens and forests, and the detailed pages give older kids more to fill in. They're our own drawings, not characters from any movie.
Which fairy page should we print?
- Little kids: the fairy with a bunny, the fairy with a mushroom and the fairy on a leaf swing have big, simple shapes.
- Ages 6 to 9: the fairy riding a butterfly, the mushroom house and the fairy watering flowers tell a little story.
- Older kids: the toadstool tea party, the lantern village and the flower market are packed with tiny things to find.
Make it a fairy garden
Color a few pages, cut out the fairies and tuck them into a houseplant or a corner of the yard, or tape them near a window. Kids can write a tiny note to leave beside them. For more from the same world, see our mushroom coloring pages, flower coloring pages and princess coloring pages.
Tips for Coloring a Fairy
- Keep wings light. Pale blue or lilac with white in the middle makes them look see-through.
- Match the dress to the flower. A fairy on a daisy could wear white and yellow.
- Add glitter last. A little glitter glue on the wings goes a long way.
- Try a night scene. A dark blue background makes pale wings glow.
