Tips for Coloring a Candy Cane

  • Stripe in one direction. Color every other stripe red and leave the rest white, all slanting the same way, so the cane looks twisted.
  • Try new color combos. Green and white, blue and white or rainbow stripes all make fun candy canes.
  • Add a shine. Leave a thin white line down one side of the cane so it looks glossy.
  • Stripe the blank cane yourself. Draw thick or thin stripes, dots or zigzags on the blank candy cane.
